My exploration at UNM came from a want to explore, but closer, without as much windshield time. I wandered around the facility and was immediately captured and intrigued by the sculptures and architecture all around me. The one piece that mesmerized me was this one sculpture, all shiny and bright and sadly ignored. It’s invisibility was further determined through a talk I gave to a group whom had spent many of their years on that campus but needed careful explanation to the sculpture’s location. As a group, they had never exactly noticed the piece; they had all walked past it numerous times but had never seen it.
